Auction house gets exposed

air cool engineering (NI) Ltd  was responsible for the providing air conditioning, heating and ventilation for Northern Ireland’s latest purpose-built auction house in Dromore, Co.Tyrone.

Working in partnership with Consultant Engineers Patrick McCaul and Derek Keys, Euro Auction’s owner, air cool engineering (NI) Ltd  has had the exciting opportunity to carry out a major installation within the impressive Euro Auction building.  Mr. Keys’ vision for his purpose built premises, was to ultimately reflect the practical aspects of the business’ activities.  air cool engineering (NI) Ltd   installed exposed services, which would normally have been concealed.  Ductwork, cable trays and air conditioning units all play a role in the overall finished industrial aesthetics of the offices.

The impressive ‘futuristic’ building has two Mitsubishi Electric R2 City Multi Systems servicing a mix of open-plan and closed offices.  These are supported by Mitsubishi Electric ‘Lossnay’ Heat Recovery Ventilation Systems.  These work together to create a healthy, comfortable and controlled environment for ‘bidders’ and staff alike.

Martin Mullan from air cool engineering (NI) Ltd said: ‘Euro Auction’s premises are comprised of many rooms of varying size – all with different heating, cooling and ventilation requirements.  Our use of different Mitsubishi Electric technologies and bespoke control systems, has resulted in the client having a state-of-the-art system which maintains optimum temperatures – whatever the season’.
